  if you can't perceive my existence you're not really looking.. there are special people that can.

  don't be bothered by the fact that these people can't agree on anything about me.. the point is that they believe and that's good enough for me.. how shall i reward them?

  i'll be there when they're suffering.. watching.. admiring their faith.. though they disagree about how their faith will ultimately work out, it makes life easier for them somehow.. the poor fools that don't know me are left to suffer all by themselves.. you're all going to die.. wouldn't it be eaiser to face your fate knowing i was watching it all, permitting it all, and occasionally scourging a little too for good measure?

  Heathen, do you know who they had revising the Bible for them? No scholars, and the people that did it were part of the gb who don't speak hebrew. one of them was only study greek for 2 years.

  Christ Is Lord Of All

  Incorrect Translations of the Jehovah's Witness Bible

  The following is but a small list of the deletions, insertions and misinterpretations that are found in the JW version; New World Translation.

  Col. 1:15-17 - The word "other" is inserted 4 times. It is not in the original Greek, nor is it implied. This is a section where Jesus is described as being the creator of all things. Since the JW organization believes that Jesus is created, they have inserted the word "other" to show that Jesus was before all "other" things, implying that He is created. 1. - There are two Greek words for "other": heteros, and allos. The first means another of a different kind, and the second means another of the same kind. Neither is used at all in this section of scripture. The JW's have changed the Bible to make it fit their aberrant theology. Zech. 12:10 - In this verse God is speaking and says "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn." Zechariah 12:10 (KJV) 1. - The JW's change the word "me" to "the one" so that it says in their Bible, "...they will look upon the one whom they have pierced..." 2. - Since the JW's deny that Jesus is God in flesh, then Zech. 12:10 would present obvious problems--so they changed it. John 1:1 - They mistranslate the verse as "a god." Again it is because they deny who Jesus is and must change the Bible to make it agree with their theology. The JW version is this: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god." Heb. 1:6 - In this verse they translate the Greek word for worship , proskuneo, as "obeisance." Obeisance is a word that means to honor, show respect, even bow down before someone. Since Jesus, to them, is created, then he cannot be worshiped. They have also done this in other verses concerning Jesus, i.e., Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; 28:9. Heb. 1:8 - This is a verse where God the Father is calling Jesus God: "But about the Son he says, Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.'" Since the JW's don't agree with that they have changed the Bible, yet again, to agree with their theology. They have translated the verse as "...God is your throne..." The problem with the JW translation is that this verse is a quote from Psalm 45:6 which, from the Hebrew, can only be translated as "...Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom." To justify their N.T. translation they actually changed the OT verse to agree with their theology, too!

  in the garden of eden when both adam and his wife, eve rebelled against instructions from their landlord, jehovah.. "in the day you eat of it (the fruit) you shall surely die.".

  What will you do when the Great Tribulation Begins?

  i've always wanted to ask this question to those that have decided to leave the organization.. what will you do when the great tribulation begins?.

  right now folks, a lot is happening in the political world.. gordon brown (prime miniter of england) last week gave a speech to the un stating that it is time for the un to step in and solve the world's problems, (specifically mentioning the economy and hunger crisis worldwide.).

  barrack obama is shaping up to be the next president, a fellow who sure knows how to persuade and lead great crowds.

  I beg to differ with you here. First of all I attend a non-denominational church where we study a Bible that has not been changed like the nwt to deny the deity of Christ. We all have to stand up in front of Christ and give an account. Your organization will not be able to speak for you only Jesus will. See he intercedes for us to the Father. No one else can.

  You speak of the political world. Well did you know that God places the authorities in their places? Did you know that because of God's involvement with the governments we are protected from evil. If God did not intervene with gov can you imagine the anarchy we would experience. God Bless America! Study your Bible and you will see how God is involved with the gov, remember king David?

  Maybe if jw would start voting we could have change go on in this world for the better. Yeah, i know your waiting for God to make it right. Dude get a clue. read your Bible, not the nwt, and learn some things. Im still learning myself! After putting down that nwt I can really study the real Bible!

  Maybe we need to start indv threads for mal on all the lies of the wts so that he may study the evidence on each issue. there are so many and we are probably overwhelming him.

  Savior Complex

  i came down with a savior complex in my late teens and i still have yet to shake it completely.

  the idea that somehow i am supposed to figure out what is wrong with the world and try to help fix it can be overwhelming at times, especially for someone like me that suffers from ocd.

  i have found that they only effective way for me to handle this is to try and make things better in my small corner of the world.

  I think the best way we can help people is to tell them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so that they may learn of his grace as we have and so that they may receive the gift as many of us have.
